In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), the Central Ohio Belonging Consortium invites you to a transformative discussion on inclusive hiring, equitable employment practices, and the power of disability inclusion in the workforce.
Why This Event Matters
People who are differently abled represent an untapped talent pool with immense potential, yet they face disproportionate barriers to employment. By rethinking recruiting strategies, enhancing workplace accessibility, and fostering an inclusive culture, organizations can attract and retain diverse, skilled talent while strengthening their overall workforce.
Join us for an insightful discussion where professionals with lived experience will share actionable strategies and success stories. Whether you’re a hiring manager, HR leader, business owner, or advocate, this event will provide practical tools to build a workplace where everyone can thrive.
This event is more than a conversation—it’s a belonging call to action. Let’s work together to break barriers, challenge biases, and create workplaces where ALL talent is valued.
The event will be hosted on the campus of the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) in the Design Studios Building (DSB), 390 E. Broad Street, corner of Cleveland Ave and E. Broad Street. The event will be held in the Presentation Room. Free parking will be available in the lot located directly east of the Design Studios Building (DSB).
Guests are asked to enter at the Welcome Center door located at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and E. Broad Street. There will be a sign for the event directly outside of the entrance.
